by Charles Dickens Adapted by Hugh LeonardDirected by Chris BruceFriday 16th – Saturday 24th October 2009 in the AuditoriumTake a classic tale. Add a contemporary re-styling. The result is a wonderful play that moves at a real pace and condenses Dickens’ beautifully evocative language into moments of high drama. This exciting adaptation of Charles Dickens’ classic novel has all the haunting resonance of the original and conveys the story with great clarity and theatrical flair. The play is a tale of pride, misunderstanding and deceit, and whistles along at a tearing pace.
This production will be performed using physical theatre, minimalist set and other stage techniques to create a real theatrical event for all the family.
