Hiring the Barn
Over the years the Barn Theatre with its unique setting has been used by companies and individuals for a variety of events - from small conferences to wedding parties. The theatre has been hired by performing companies and by some famous names as an ideal venue for that all important 'try out'. It also presents an ideal venue for company presentations. All hirings are subject to the availability of the facility required.

The Theatre
Recently refurbished, and with full rake, the 140 seat auditorium offers a comfortable and intimate audience experience. It has full lighting and sound rigs with computerised controls'
Stage dimensions (approx) 6.5metres x 6.5metres
Two dressing rooms
Green room with artistes toilet and kitchen
Rehearsal rooms
Technical staff available as required.
Rehearsal Rooms
Two large rehearsal rooms available for hire, particularly during the day, and offer excellent space for rehearsals, part-time classes, meetings etc.
Club Room and Bar Area
With the original old barn beams exposed, the Clubroom offers a unique and comfortable setting for a wide variety of events. An adjacent rehearsal room serves as an extension to the area to offer a seperate catering/dance space. The foyer of the theatre can provide a similar use or provide a greeting/reception area.
Bar staff can be provided.
Film Location
A view of the pictures on this site will suggest a wide variety of possible 'settings' for the film location finder - including small theatre, old barn exterior, character pub, meeting room etc. The rooms and facilities also offer an ideal 'location base' for small/medium production units.
