Archives - Inherit the Wind

by Jerome Lawrence and Robert E Lee

Directed by Siobhán Hill Elam

Friday 11th – Saturday 19th June 2010 in the Auditorium

Based on a real-life 1920s US court case about the teaching of evolution, this was made into a successful film.

This is the play that has as its genesis the events of the famous Scopes trials. One of the most outstanding dramas of our time.

Show Talks

Free-of-charge pre- and post-show talks:

The portrait it draws of an explosive episode in American culture, remains as fresh as it ever was. It retains the folk flavour and spiritual awareness. Bursting with vitality... literature of the stage!
