Archives - Last of the Red Hot Lovers
by Neil SimonDirected by Joan GoodwinSaturday 26th September – Saturday 3rd October 1981 in the AuditoriumA “red hot lover” is precisely what Barney is not! He has been happily but uneventfully married for twenty-three years. Suddenly he feels that if ever he is to have any adventures, now must be the time. Taking advantage of his Mother’s unoccupied flat, he tries hard to embark on a career of seduction. The situations that result are typically Simonesque — funny, moving and so wryly true to life. |
