Membership of the Barn Theatre

Membership is open to all...

Members of the Barn Theatre received the club magazine, Barn News, free every month. It gives full information on special events, club evenings, play readings, theatre outings, parties and other social events as well as details of auditions which are to be held for the plays in the forthcoming season. These events are normally free but when tickets are required, usually when refreshments are supplied, they are available from behind the bar.

Auditions are open to to the general public, but if selected for a role you will have to join the Barn Theatre Club. Those who prefer to take a backstage role in helping with the staging, simply volunteer their services to the Director, Stage Manager or Productions Secretary of each production, though they are also welcome at auditions.

The first night of each production can be booked by members for the reduced price of £7.00 (normally £9.75).

When there is NO show running in the theatre, the bar is still open every Tuesday and Thursday from 9pm — 11pm, Friday from 7.45pm — 11pm and on Sundays from 1pm — 3pm.

Annual Barn Theatre Membership Subscriptions

Junior (under 18) £12.00
Student (over 18 but SU cardholder) £12.00
Ordinary (over 18) £24.00
Senior (over 65) £12.00

For two or more members at the same address these rates are reduced to £20.00 each for ordinary members and £10.00 each for others.
