Movies and Mayhem – a hilarious comedy of the golden days of Hollywood

Legendary producer David O Selznick has just suspended filming of the most eagerly anticipated movie of all time, Gone With The Wind, scrapping the script and sacking its director in the process. He drafts in script doctor Ben Hecht to rewrite it, but Hecht happens to be the only man in the country who’s not read the novel. Along with director Victor Fleming, whom they’ve poached from the set of The Wizard of Oz, they have five days to rescue the film…

  Director Jack Wood talks in detail about David O. Selznick, Victor Fleming and Ben Hecht.
• Thursday 28^th at 7.30pm in the Clubroom
  Dr. Cindy Lawford enlarges upon the making of Gone With the Wind.
• Friday 29^th after the performance
  Cast members stay on stage to answer audience questions.
