by Ivan Menchell

Directed by Keith Thompson

Friday 25th September – Saturday 3rd October 1998 in the Auditorium

In the last twelve months this has been the fifth most popular play performed by LTG theatres.

A warm and very funny New York Jewish comedy, about Ida, Lucille and Doris, who meet each month for tea and a visit to their husbands’ graves, where they chat over past times and gossip about their friends. This routine and their friendship are tested when they meet Sam, a widowed butcher, and vie for his affections.
