Archives - The Owl and the Pussycat Went to See

by Sheila Ruskin and David Wood
After Edward Lear

Directed by Marjorie Coles

Wednesday 2nd – Saturday 12th January 1974 in the Auditorium

The Dong with the luminous nose, The Quangle Wangle, the Plum Pudding Flea…

These are only a few of the fascinating and unlikely creatures which we meet in this play based on the nonsense verses of Edward Lear. Though primarily written for young audiences it has a great deal of appeal for adults: a combination which should make it an ideal after-Christmas family entertainment.
