Dip your toe in the water and test your assumption for what is real - reality is in the eye of the beholder
The Rorschach Test is an original play for performers, puppeteers and masks, which explores the thin line between the rational order of everyday reality and the logic of dreams. Plays by Eugène Ionesco and Samuel Beckett, as well as such films as Eraserhead by David Lynch, were used as a springboard into the style and feeling of absurdist theatre.
The title refers to the famous ink-blot test used as a psychiatric tool to test the mental stability of psychiatric patients. They are shown a series of black and white abstract ink-blots and asked to describe what they see. These descriptions could range from an abstract pattern to a vivid description of an object or scene or situation.
Tickets are now available for just £8. Buy online or from the Box Office.
