The regular comedy night on the first Friday of the month, starring Wade McElwain.
Headline act Wade McElwain is one of Canada’s most beloved comedians, now making his home in North London. Winner of the Funniest New Comedian at the 2000 Canadian Comedy Awards, Wade has gone on to grace stages across the world, performing at the prestigious Just For Laughs Festival, the New York Comedy Festival, and the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. He has hosted the comedic TV show Gutter Ball Alley, the travel romp Ultimate Destination, and written & produced on such shows as Who Wants to be a Millionaire; You Bet Your Ass; and Double Down.
The compere will be Cambridge graduate Paul T Eyres, who began his stand-up comedy career in 2005 and has since performed well over 500 gigs around the UK and abroad. Performing at such clubs as Jongleurs, The Comedy Store and London’s Comedy Cafe, his very energetic, highly interactive and yet slightly surreal brand of humour is starting to create a real buzz around the comedy circuit.
Marc Lucero and Andrew Watts make up the rest of the evening’s entertainers.
