Daytime Play Reading Group

8th January 2014 at 09:30:00

We’ve had whodunnits, American and British comedies and started the mince pie season in December with a play that starred our very own Dame Flora Robson in the title role when it opened in 1980, What shall we do about Henry? We discovered she could look after herself and skillfully put her nephew and the community on track to wealth and happiness.

We’d also like this to be a place where potential directors can try out a play and will help to bring a team together for an evening reading. We have our Studio theatre too now so have an exciting venue to use.

If you’re a writer and want to hear how your play reads, be there to discuss and edit, then that too is an option. Just call to discuss. Meanwhile we welcome allcomers for a jolly good read.

Please note the new start time of 9.30am. The reading will run until 12.15pm with a break for coffee and biscuits.
