New Season Directors’ Evening

Find out what’s going to be on stage from this September

Coral Walton will be introducing the new directors for the the forthcoming season (2015-16).

They will enthuse about their play and entice you to participate either on stage or as a much valued part of the creative team.

  • 25th September to 3rd October: Arsenic and Old Lace by Joseph Kesselring
    Director Keith Thompson, 11m 3f
  • 16th to 24th October: Chancers by Robert Massey
    Director Siobhan Elam, 2f 2m
  • 13th to 21st November: Turn of the Screw (adaptation from Henry James TBA)
    Director Jan Palmer Sayer, maybe 5m 8f
  • 12th to 31st December: Through the Looking Glass (adaptation TBA)
    Director Rosemary Bianchi, large mixed cast
  • 15th to 23rd January: Brassed Off adapted by Paul Allen
    Director Coral Walton, 4f 7m
  • 12th to 20th February: Wuthering Heights adaptation by Lucy Gough
    Director Lou Wallace, 4f 3m
  • 18th to 26th March: Dealer’s Choice by Patrick Marber
    Director Danny Swanson, 6m
  • 6th to 16th April: God of Carnage by Yasmina Reza
    Director Hannah Sayer, 2m 2f
  • 6th to 14th May: Still under negotiation due to the late withdrawal of the director
  • 10th to 18th June: Complete Works of Shakespeare (Reduced Shakespeare Company)
    Director Darren Barsby, 2m 1f, celebrating the age of the Barn and part entry for the Welwyn Drama Festival
  • 10th to 18th July: Barn Youth Production TBA
