After the hugely successful debut show in June, the Barn’s very own Eamon Goodfellow is hosting two more open mic comedy nights in the members’ bar on Saturday 3rd November and Saturday 8th December at 8pm.
For the June show the Barn bar was converted into a late-night underground comedy venue where a full house was royally entertained by 10 comedians from the London / Hertfordshire comedy scene.
Open-mic nights like these give up-and-coming comedians and more established names the opportunity to strut their funny in front of an enthusiastic and appreciative audience. Established TV names such as Jack Dee, Dara Ó Briain, Susan Calman and Sarah Millican all regularly try out new material and ‘polish their comedy gold’ in front of open-mic crowds. So who knows, you could be looking at the next star of Live at the Apollo or Mock the Week.
Best of all, the evening is open to members and non-members and has no entrance fee. At the end of the night you’ll be invited to pay what you felt the show was worth – what better way to feed back to the performers along with your laughs and applause? So get it in your diaries: Saturday 3rd November and Saturday 8th December.
There will be a totally different line-up of comics each night so why not support live comedy on both?
