Join us at The Barn Theatre for an enchanting evening as Eleanor Grant and Sonorité Music pay tribute to The Carpenters. Renowned as “one of Britain’s greatest talents” (Hollywood in Vienna 2019), Eleanor Grant brings her exceptional vocal abilities and deep musical versatility to this special performance, celebrating the timeless songs of Karen and Richard Carpenter.

Accompanied by the musicians of Sonorité Music, after several sell-out performances this year, Eleanor will bring her unique style and interpretations to the music of The Carpenters, performing hits such as “Close to You,” “Yesterday Once More,” and “Top of the World.” This concert promises to be a beautiful celebration of one of the most beloved musical duos of all time, reimagined through Eleanor’s extraordinary voice.

Eleanor Grant is an accomplished singer, double bassist and bass guitarist, holding versatility at the core of her identity. She started singing at the tender age of ten, starring in the film Nativity! 2, and recording for composers such as Rachel Portman, Alan Menken, and top record producer, Guy Chambers. She sings on the soundtracks of several films, including Dream House (soloist opening titles), Eurovision Song Contest: The Story of Fire Saga, Cinderella, Cruella, and Disney’s live-action remakes of Aladdin and The Little
Mermaid.

Sonorité Music offer a range of highly experienced musicians and ensembles for recitals, weddings, events and concerts across the UK. We pride ourselves on our highly varied and engaging recital programmes, rarely consisting of any single style or genre. The team are committed to bringing live classical music to audiences and communities otherwise unable to listen. We have performed and organised recitals in schools, youth centres, churches and other arts venues and are always looking to play in new venues. Our musicians are highly experienced professionals and play frequently with many of the UKs leading orchestras and ensembles, such as London Symphony Orchestra, Royal Shakespeare Company, London Philharmonic Orchestra, Philharmonia, Orchestra of the Swan, London Children’s Ballet, FeMusa Orchestra and multiple west end shows. www.sonoritemusic.co.uk
