The Barn Theatre, with its unique setting, can occasionally be used by performing companies and individuals for a variety of events, including use as a film location. All hirings are subject to our limited availability and can be seen here.

The Theatre
Our theatre space is heavily used with our own internal productions taking 90% of theatre time. There are few opportunities for external hire.
Recently refurbished, the 121-seat auditorium offers a comfortable and intimate audience experience. It has full lighting and sound rigs with computerised controls.

Technical staff available as requested for hire.
Rehearsal Rooms
Two enclosed rehearsal rooms can be hired during the day only, and are subject to limited availability, offering space for rehearsals and small classes and meetings.
Club Room and Bar Area
With the original old barn beams exposed, the Club Room offers a small but unique comfortable setting for small scale events. (Restricted age limit to over 25). The foyer of the theatre can provide a greeting/reception area. We are happy to hire to non-members, but our license does not cover the supply of alcohol to non-members and cannot, therefore, offer a bar service to non-members.
