The God of Carnage

By Yasmina Reza
Directed by Hannah Sayer
8th – 16th April 2016

A hilarious descent from civilised to savage

Yasmina Reza’s award-winning comedy of manners, minus the manners, is a whirlwind of fun, brilliantly translated by Christopher Hampton, and a treat for all ages (except perhaps those with small ears and delicate sensibilities). As the evening progresses, a simple meeting degenerates into four parents getting into irrational arguments, with the discussion going far beyond the matter at hand. A great night of being the fly on the wall.

Running time: Approximately 1hr 10 minutes with NO interval.
