Didn’t you just love Tammy Wall’s set in the Lilies on the Land interval? Did you, like me, wish you could sit and listen to her for an hour or so? Well now we can. On Saturday and Sunday she’ll bring the Fringe to a close with Tell Me on a Sunday, a 1970’s one-act musical, penned by Don Black and Andrew Lloyd Webber and originally performed by Marti Webb.
It’s directed here by Coral Walton and new Barn member Emrys Matthews (Complete Works of Shakespeare) with musical direction by Daniel Ephgrave (Bugsy Malone). It may only run for an hour, but it’s a golden hour, which includes songs like Take That Look Off Your Face and Capped Teeth and Caesar Salad. A poignant, intimate musical, perfect for the Studio and brought to you by some of the best of Barn talent.
