FROM THE BARN THEATRE ARCHIVE

Alfie

by Bill Naughton
Directed by Ron Jolly
11th – 18th March 1972

The story of a cynical cockney to whom life is a giggle and a succession of ‘birds’. Sex is his game but without involvement or responsibility which he cunningly manages to avoid — or does he? A play which will give much laughter through Alfie’s explanation of his philosophy, which will shock in some parts of its story and probably leave you a little saddened in retrospect.
