It’s Christmas. You’re skint, you’re knackered, you’ve had enough of Mariah Carey, and if one more person asks whether you’re all ready for Christmas, you might just tell them to **** off. Sounds like the perfect time for another Comedy at the Barn.

Back in charge is Gary G Knightley, a man once described as having “bags of charisma” and “an absolute ************!” He’ll be doing his best to keep the evening on track, which, given his track record, is probably the last thing anyone should expect.

Headlining is Olaf Falafel, Sweden’s fifth funniest comedian, Edinburgh Fringe joke award winner and a man who has somehow made a career out of being spectacularly ridiculous. His jokes are clever, stupid, occasionally both, and delivered at a pace that barely gives you time to recover from the last one.

Joining him is Tom Little, Leicester Mercury Comedian of the Year and BBC New Comedy Award finalist. He’s intelligent, unpredictable and has a remarkable ability to take a perfectly reasonable thought and drag it somewhere it has absolutely no business going.

And then there’s Charlie Vero-Martin, Scottish comedian, actor and writer, Funny Women finalist and a woman whose head appears to be full of ideas that probably shouldn’t be allowed out in public. Sharp, surreal and gloriously unhinged.

Three excellent comedians, one questionable compere and absolutely no guarantee on how it will work out!

There’ll be things you probably shouldn’t laugh at, and there’ll almost certainly be someone in the audience who wishes they’d stayed at home.
