Put That Light Out

by John Gardiner
Directed by Joan Goodwin
Musical Director Keith Crook
12th – 19th February 1977

An evening of nostalgia, somewhere between Victorian music hall and contemporary revue — songs, words and incidents from World War II, through the eyes and lips of an East End family.

A show to be laughed at — and with. At no time does it pretend to be chronologically accurate; it seeks simply to capture the spirit and feeling of the time.
