FROM THE BARN THEATRE ARCHIVE

In Praise Of Love

by Terence Rattigan
Directed by David Shepherd
21st – 28th January 1978

Two plays written with humour and affection on the one theme of love.

The first, Before Dawn, an amusing pastiche on the story of Tosca, acts as a curtain-raiser to the second, After Lydia, which is an emotive study of a wife’s selfless love for an outwardly selfish and apparently uncaring husband.
