The Rose Tattoo

by Tennessee Williams
Directed by Jan Palmer Sayer
16th – 23rd October 1982
Pedro appeared by courtesy of Van Hages Garden Centre, Great Amwell

Passion, prejudice and superstition orchestrate the lives of a village community on the coast of Louisiana. They induce desperation in the widow Serafina, frustration in her nubile daughter, cynical opportunism in the stranger Alvarez and derision from the neighbours.

“Do you believe strange things? I’ll tell you something about the tattoo…”
