FROM THE BARN THEATRE ARCHIVE

Harvey

by Mary Chase
Directed by Dave Goodall
19th – 26th November 1983

Written in 1943 and first performed in New York, this gentle comedy was subsequently filmed with James Stewart in what he considered to be his most enjoyable role.

“He was always so calm about any sudden change in plans. Take your average man looking up and seeing a big white rabbit, he’d do something about it. But not Elwood; he took that calmly too and look where it got him”.
