Chicago

11th – 18th March 1989

In razzle-dazzle roaring twenties Chicago, Roxie Hart murders a faithless lover and seeks to capitalise on pre-trial publicity for the sake of acquittal and stage career. Her pre-trial prison career, the trial itself, her acquittal and subsequent return to obscurity is told through a succession of Vaudeville acts.

Bold, cynical and stylish, this exuberant American musical is a happy choice for a lively night out.
