Daisy Pulls It Off

by Denise Deegan
Directed by Joan Goodwin
6th – 13th April 1991

When Daisy knows that she is to be the first scholarship pupil to enter the hallowed portals of Grangewood School, that bastion of privilege, she is naturally filled with excitement at the prospect. However, there are a few silly little rotters in the school who aren’t too keen on scholarship pupils being admitted. For Daisy the way ahead is strewn with difficulties and tribulations.

Set in a world of innocence that categorises the essence of Angela Brazil’s Schoolgirl stories, the award-winning Daisy Pulls It Off is a “gloriously witty parody…” a perfectly ripping, absolutely spiffing, not to mention ‘scrummy’ entertainment that will have your jaws aching.

An evening of good family playgoing.
