FROM THE BARN THEATRE ARCHIVE

See How They Run

by Philip King
Directed by Jack Wood
27th October – 4th November 1995

A country vicar; his ex-actress wife; an old colleague of hers, now in the army, who calls and takes her to dinner (dressed as the vicar – don’t ask!). So are the ingredients set up for this classic farce of the ’40s. There follows a helter-skelter of action, with a comic and knowing maid, a lovelorn spinster who accidentally gets drunk, a visiting bishop, a visiting curate, and an escaped German prisoner — who also disguises himself as a vicar!

The fun is fast and furious as vicars chase each other round the house and mistaken identities are further mistaken. Come and join the fun!
