In October 1998 the attention of the world shifted to rural Laramie, a small town in Wyoming, USA. A gay college student had been found badly beaten and tied to a fence and left to die by two men his own age because he looked “like a fa****t”. Taken from the text of over two hundred interviews, The Laramie Project documents how this small community coped when the unthinkable happened. Giving voice to those of every party and point of view, this moving and remarkable true story is definitely not to be missed.
