Based on a real-life 1920s US court case about the teaching of evolution, this was made into a successful film.

This is the play that has as its genesis the events of the famous Scopes trials. One of the most outstanding dramas of our time.

Monday 14^th at 7.30pm in the Clubroom — Director Siobhán Hill Elam divulges the joys of a packed Tennessee courthouse in summer.
Tuesday 15^th at 7.30pm in the Clubroom — Dr. Cindy Lawford discusses the Scopes trial, William Jennings Bryan and Clarence Darrow.
Wednesday 16^th after the performance — Cast members stay on stage to answer audience questions.
