The true story of John Merrick, treated first as a fairground freak because of his hideously, repulsively deformed body and later exploited more subtly by Victorian society.

Tickets are on sale now for just £10.

School groups pay only £5 per seat. Teachers interested in booking seats should contact our Education Coordinators Cindy Lawford and Chris Bruce Contact education team to find out about available workshops and talks on the play.

    Director Rosemary Bianchi discusses illusions of deformity and staging the carnivalesque.
  • Wednesday 2nd at 7.30pm in the Clubroom
    Dr. Cindy Lawford relates John Merrick’s life story in rich detail.
  • Thursday 3rd after the performance
    Cast members stay on stage to answer audience questions.
