The Hound of the Baskervilles

By Simon Williams
Directed by Adam Dryer
8th – 16th October 2010

Something wicked this way comes

This production makes use of a smoke machine - anyone affected by this should avoid sitting in the front rows of the auditorium.

A comedy melodrama, where an ancient curse returns to terrify the Baskerville family. Is it really the devil’s dog, or perhaps something more earthly but by no means less dangerous? Only one man can solve the riddle, the world’s most famous detective, Mr Sherlock Holmes.

Join Holmes and his trusted friend Dr Watson as they take on their most famous case and race against time to save Sir Henry Baskerville from the curse of the Hound from hell!

Free-of-charge pre and post-show talks:

  • Tuesday 12th at 7.30pm in the Clubroom — Director Adam Dryer considers ghostly dogs and escaped convicts on the moors.
  • Wednesday 13th at 7.30pm in the Clubroom — Dr. Cindy Lawford wonders why Holmes has let Watson go it alone.
  • Thursday 14th after the performance — Cast members stay on stage to answer audience questions.
