An artist, a scientist and a sexpot are coming to dinner. Paige, hostess extraordinaire, is celebrating the publication of her husband’s bestseller. The arrival of Mike, marooned in the foggy lane after crashing his van, provides an unexpected addition to the evening’s entertainment. A silent waiter, sourced from an obscure website, completes the picture. Primordial Soup is first on the menu.

Let the dinner from hell begin…

Dinner was also presented at Hertford Theatre Week on Tuesday 30th April where won first place.

Adjudicator Walker Ewart in his public summing-up said –

“This elegant set was well used by the director. There was good use of lighting, sound and music and the actors were well supported by the props team. This play is all about control, which was evidently understood by all the members of the team. There was strong acting across the board. The pace was good, and there were wonderful moments of comedy and darkness. The director worked with skill and it was an effective and joyful production which had a shocking and unexpected ending.”
