90th Welwyn Drama Festival

19th – 24th May 2025 at 7:30pm

A 90th Week of Dramatic Competition!

NOTE: The start time on 24th is 7pm.

The Welwyn Drama Festival celebrates its 90th anniversary this year, marking nine decades of outstanding amateur theatre. This much-loved festival returns to the Barn Theatre, Welwyn Garden City, for a week of top-quality performances from theatre companies across the region. From gripping drama to light-hearted comedy, every night promises something special.

Adjudicator Tristan Marshall (GoDA) will be offering expert insight and feedback, making this a must-attend event for theatre lovers, performers, and anyone looking for a fantastic night out.

Join us as we celebrate this milestone year. Come for the drama, stay for the celebration – because 90 years of theatre is something worth applauding.
