Semafour is a quintet of musicians based in St Albans, all highly active and in-demand on the local Hertfordshire jazz circuit. Expect an evening filled with a rich variety of jazz, including slow ballads and up-tempo swing versions of your favourite standards, as well as modern funk, Latin, and bop tunes composed by the likes of Wayne Shorter, Freddie Hubbard, and Chick Corea.
During the first set Semafour will present their most-loved instrumental charts, with a second set full of vocal numbers featuring the group’s singer, Lorraine Kirby.
Music starts at 8pm, with doors and bar open from 7.30pm.
