Forget polite chuckles – Comedy at the Barn is here to make you ugly-laugh, snort beer through your nose, and maybe question a few life choices. Your ringleader for the evening is the unapologetically ridiculous Gary G Knightley, a man described as having “bags of charisma”… and also “an absolute nightmare” (both accurate, depending on how close you’re sitting). He’s not here to play nice – he’s here to preside over a night of joyful chaos, razor-sharp punchlines and the sort of crowd interaction that might leave you rethinking your outfit, your relationship and your very existence.

The yet-to-be-confirmed line-up will, as usual, be packed with comics who know how to hit hard: quick-fire one-liners, cheeky filth that’ll make you glad your mum stayed at home, and stories so absurd you’ll swear they’re made up (they probably aren’t). Expect silliness, savagery and just enough wrongness to make you feel slightly guilty about how much you’re enjoying yourself.
