Lauren began acting at school and later became a member of Surrey County Youth Theatre and made her first appearance with them in George Orwell’s Animal Farm. At school Lauren studied theatre studies at both GCSE and A-level which helped fuel her passion for performing. She was a member of Breakaway Theatre Company in St Albans, where she took part in the open-air performance of Blue Remembered Hills playing Angela. Lauren’s first appearance at the Barn was as food-loving Sharon in Alan Ayckbourn’s Man of the Moment, which she followed up by playing Sylvia in Hi-de-Hi! and Jo in A Taste of Honey.
