Loot is not a play suitable for children (more information here)

A family in mourning, a coffin, a missing body, the proceeds of a bank raid and a highly suspicious policeman are the ingredients of Loot. From this surprising mixture Orton concocts a farce which as it develops makes an irreverent assault on some of our more hallowed institutions. The author’s wit was such that one critic called him the “Oscar Wilde of the Welfare State”.

Part of the Barn’s 1976-1977 Season.
