FROM THE BARN THEATRE ARCHIVE

The Sunshine Boys

by Neil Simon
Directed by Margaret Hakansson
24th September – 1st October 1983

Described when first presented in New York as “the most delightful play Mr. Simon has written for several seasons”, it is packed with typical Simon wisecracking “one-liners” and, for good measure, an hilarious vaudeville sketch. As a bonus there is an endearing underlying warmth in the love/hate relationship between the two main characters, Willie and Al.
