Gaslight

By Patrick Hamilton
Directed by Beth Maxwell
Assistant Director James Maxwell
17th – 25th October 2003

This thriller has been intriguing and scaring audiences since 1938 and still retains its power. The action takes place in London during one tense evening, in the latter part of the 19th Century. Marked by sinister brightening and fading of the gaslight, an atmosphere of menace is created, and builds to a surprising climax…

Part of the Barn’s 2003-2004 Season.
