Based on the ever-popular TV series, the stage version follows the adventures of Réne the hapless café owner, his wife the long-suffering Edith and all the other familiar characters.
Herr Hitler is planning a visit to the local town and Réne will need all the wit he can muster to save his café, his life and the painting of the fallen Madonna with the big boobies.
The stage play is better plotted than any of the half-hour episodes and is certainly racier. It is wonderfully politically incorrect which is one of the reasons for its amateur success.
It’s about as much fun as you can have with your clothes on!
