Set in a Middle England country garden where Felix Humble, once the golden boy of his family, now Cambridge astrophysicist, returns to attend his father’s funeral. Instead of a grieving mother he finds her considering the proposal of an aspiring suitor. Something odd is happening as past decisions and new revelations combine to create dilemmas for families closely linked in the past but maybe not in the future.
