Can Italian-American Nick leave his beloved but demanding grandparents — and will they let him? For this is Hoboken, New Jersey, and Nick’s attempts to live as an American individual and yet stay loyal to his traditional Italian family generate the tensions and misunderstandings which drive this touching and very funny play.
