One-Act Play Festival Rehearsed Reading

We need your feedback! Lesley Bilton has written the Barn’s one-act play festival entry for this season, which will be directed by Siobhan Hill Elam and performed at various locations from about March to June 2011.

Be honest with yourself. Did you ever, as a child, want to fly like Peter Pan? Or scull along the river to Toad Hall? Or join Pooh in the search for the North Pole? Once upon a time, three authors immortalised a number of characters that caught the imagination of children for generations. But unfortunately, immortal childrens’ authors do not necessarily make great parents and three fathers ended up with three very lost boys…

We will be having a rehearsed reading at the Barn on the night of Saturday 2nd October in the Studio. We have recruited our volunteers for the reading, but we now need an audience and this is an opportunity for you to come along and have a taste of this unique play. We would like, if you don’t mind, to give you a small questionnaire to fill in afterwards to give us any tips as to any improvements that could be made. It is also your chance to see if it’s a show that you may wish to audition for yourself when the time comes. The festival circuit is LOTS of fun and extremely rewarding, so please do come along to find out more. Newcomers to the festival scene are especially encouraged to “have a go”.

DON'T FORGET, COMING UP AT THE BARN SOON
