The Magic Flute

Mozart’s charming, pantomime-like opera is a first for the Barn. With a specially-commissioned new English translation and a small live orchestra, nineteen talented singers and actors bring to life this delightful and accessible entertainment, suitable for all the family.

Free-of-charge pre- and post-show talks:

  • Monday 25th and Wednesday 27th at 7.15pm in the Clubroom — Director Jack Wood describes his approach to staging The Magic Flute at the Barn Theatre, and what he has tried to achieve.
  • Friday 29th after the performance — Cast members stay on stage to answer audience questions.
