Learn how the theatre works and how you can get involved

A date for your diary – more details to follow when it’s all finalised.

We’re planning an event aimed at bringing together key members of the backstage creative and technical teams to meet members interested in knowing more about:

  • Set Creation – ie. set design, build, painting and dressing
  • Production teams – stage management, production management, props, wardrobe, prompting and makeup
  • Technical teams – lighting, sound and FX
  • Front of House – box office, bar, coffees, stewarding, house management

With the auditorium busy with final preparations for Monster we will have people who can answer your questions and show you various aspects of back stage and, importantly, how you can get involved. With some light refreshments and take away information this is a key opportunity for us to get to know you and for you to get started on strengthening your connection to the Barn.

The theatre will open from 11am to 1pm.
