1890. Vienna. As the century turns, society is turning in on itself. Sex is on the menu and as the partners change, and change again, we see a darker side to this froth of seduction, deception and titillation.
A cycle of ten dialogues, this promenade production will take you into beneath the skirts of siècle Vienna and into and around the Barn Theatre, and perhaps into some of its hidden and secret spaces.
Please note: this is a promenade production; the action moves and the audience has to move with it – several times during the course of the evening. You will be creeping along backstage corridors, up and down steps and occasionally standing to get a better view. Consequently (and regrettably), La Ronde is unsuitable for wheelchair or walking-aid users.
