The January film will be Sweet Charity.
We haven’t run a musical before so we plan to screen the 1969 film Sweet Charity starring Shirley MacLaine. This 1969 movie is great fun and features many well-known numbers such as Big Spender and The Rhythm of Life. The film was directed by Bob Fosse, the well-known Broadway choreographer who also directed Liza Minnelli in Cabaret.
Come along for a great evening at the movies, and it’s free.
Running time: 149 minutes.
