Following February’s Members’ Open Day, we are delighted to announce the official opening event – this time it is a case of ‘family hang back’, as we can only manage about 60 people coming to the event.
Attendance at the event will be by invitation only – we haven’t even got room to seat parents of the performers, so we will not be running a ballot for spare tickets… there just aren’t any.
We want to thank our sponsors, fund-raisers and the people who had most to do with building of the new theatre. We also want them to feel the warmest of welcomes by sharing a ‘Barn Experience’. That means we want to show off our main theatre, as well as our new baby, to have our coffee and front of house teams welcome them, alongside members of our Youth Theatre, to include speeches from Youth Theatre past members (quite a long time past in fact!) and have them enjoy a performance, followed by prosecco in the bar and one of those buffets you might get at the-end-of show party. In other words, know what they have spent their money on, or professional skills doing, and deem it very worthwhile.
