Paint The Barn

8th August 2015 at 10:00:00

Paintbrush-wielding help required

We are looking for volunteers to paint the outside of the Barn!

Ray Gibbins and Roger Eames have enthusiastically stepped in to organise this enjoyable task. The fabric is in urgent need of a paint-job and it’s the sort of job we can do ourselves and save a lot of money without having to hire a decorating company. We might save as much as £2,000 doing it ourselves!

To make the process as enjoyable as possible we propose throwing the bar open (after it’s done) – hopefully in one morning – and offering drinks and a free BBQ in the evening to all helpers! Gets better doesn’t it?

So we need volunteers to paint and to help in the catering area (because we’ll need lots of tea whilst we’re painting!). We’ll supply gloves and safety glasses and, of course, paint – you just need to arrive in your oldest clothes with glad rags for the evening!

Come along at 10am.

If the weather is inclement there’s plenty to do inside!
