Hazel and David Halliday are again bringing a selection from their collection of modern “Euro” board games for what is becoming a popular and regular Barn Club Night, with a core of enthusiastic participants.
If the term board games only conjures up visions of Monopoly, Cluedo or Risk and you’ve never played games like Ticket to Ride, Kingdom Builder, Dominion or Splendor, now’s the chance to find out more and possibly find yourself hooked on a new hobby.
There are games that will last about 90 minutes and make you think hard about strategy and there are others, lasting 20 minutes or less which will have you crying with laughter. So, if you can’t get there until a bit later, that shouldn’t be a problem.
