The Wonder Dish – the poetry of John Mole

3rd April 2017 at 20:00:00

A delicious cornucopia of words, sounds and music.

St Albans based John Mole is one of the country’s leading poets writing for adults and children with equal brio and allure. With over a dozen anthologies in print Mole’s work is by turn dramatic, lyrical and humorous but always penetrating at a time when such literary virtues are frequently rare. Mole’s insights into the hopes, fears, foibles, joys and sorrows of modern life are both an uplifting celebration and searing indictment of the worlds in which we live.

In 2016, John Mole and Tabae joined forces to create The Wonder Dish, a delicious cornucopia of words, sounds and music   Mole’s poetry and Tabae’s theatrical style combine perfectly to create a delightful melange of readings, dramatisations, soundscapes and music brought alive and kicking to the mainstream theatre stage.
